I found the picture of this puzzle attractive but kind of odd, as the owls appear to be different species. The little ones look like burrowing owls to me, and the biggest like a great horned owl, and I don’t know what the middle-sized one is, but they’re supposed to be the two parents with all their chicks. Hm. Difficult and became tedious near the end, when all the pine needles, tree bark and some of the feather pattern hard to distinguish from each other. Loved the varied piece shapes, though it took me forever to get all the edges in place! because so many of the inside pieces had straight edges too. I like that kind of challenge. Can’t believe I missed the final photo- I was so glad to have this one done, I signed the last piece (starting to do that more regularly now) looked at it for a moment with satisfaction, and then immediately began crumbling to put back in the box. It wasn’t until I was all done breaking it up and boxing that I realized I hadn’t photographed the completed puzzle! But I did get it all assembled, and there were no missing pieces.
Completed on 6/9/24. (I’m a bit behind with my puzzle posts again). Final size 26 x 20″.
