This puzzle is from an Indigenous Art collection, the artist is Cree-Ojibway. Collaborative assembly with my sister and her partner. Bright abstract puzzle. Ribbon cut with average piece shape variety. Quite shiny on the surface (so I often had to take off my glasses to avoid glare) and some mild finger pain (so I rubbed my fingers on my jeans). My sister did all the trees and final sitting. I’d been working on the pink lines and then took a nap and when I came back to it, the puzzle was finished! She said “Ah, well you know, you stop to see if just one piece will fit in and then you keep going. It’s like the pieces leap into place of their own accord!” I laughed, I know how compelling it can be. Puzzling fun.
(Ignore some of the splotchy appearance in the middle of these photos- I did a quick rough photoshop job trying to obscure glare from the overhead lights on the tabletop.)
