This puzzle took me quite a bit longer than usual, for 500 pieces. I was working on it for an entire week. The original image is a painting, with soft edges and blended colors that feel indistinct in the separate pieces on the table. The sky especially went slow. On the final sitting, I had two friends visiting who helped me out and I was glad to get this one done! Nice sturdy pieces with a lovely linen surface, but otherwise I’m not quite in agreement how some people are adamant that Ravensburger is the best. I don’t find the piece cut particularly interesting, in fact I had a few momentary false fits. I do appreciate that there’s no glare when I worked on this after dark, and had overhead artificial lights on.
