I didn’t think I would re-work this puzzle again so soon, but it kept bugging me that I’d never glued the broken pieces before dismantling it last time. So I sat down at the table with some wood glue. I thought I could just assemble the sections surrounding the broken pieces and not re-do the entire puzzle, but no. I ended up putting the whole thing together, and glueing each piece as I came across the spot it fit in. For most of these pictures, the broken pieces are in the center. At one point I could see which remaining ones went together, and glued them before I had their places ready.
I think it’s kind of fun to compare to the previous round of progress shots, and see how differently I assembled it this time. I did it all in one sitting this time around (about an hour) but took more progress pictures.
