From the Ivory Cats boxed set. I had few complaints about the previous puzzles from this set, but found that with the slightly higher piece count, the puzzle doesn’t get much bigger, the pieces get quite a bit smaller. The fit is rather loose, which means I have to take a bit more care assembling, as a sleeve dragged across or any jostling will disarrange some pieces. That said, it was still decent quality, and a lot of it went together relatively quick, just everything falling into place.
I just love the way this artist paints cats. She has the gestures, body proportions and everything down so apt. The tilt of the ears, bending over to lick the paw from a cup, it’s exactly how I’ve seen my cats do. So nicely captured.
Another one that I put together on the library table (over two pieces of paper for transport home in my cardboard ‘sandwich’),

then took a final shot straight on, at home again.
