This is one of those confusing puzzles that has four brands named on the box: Milton Bradley, Hasbro, Cardinal and Spin Master. So which do I list as the manufacturer? I put MB as that’s the one shown on the front. Handling this one reminded me of doing the color-it-yourself puzzle, it had the same tactile feel, a matte surface that looked like colored by hand, but definitely printed. Blocky kind of pieces with some very small, shallow knobs. There were a bunch of pieces that confused me at first, I sorted them out with the edges but they had a convex side instead of concave. I found they made a ring around one of the flower centers, it felt quite clever.
Several false fits, especially all those dark blue edge pieces that didn’t vary much, required trial-and-error fitting. The pink flowers on either side had an almost identical cut in the same area of the petals, that really threw me for a while. The rest of it felt meditative and relaxing to do.
