This is my favorite of the latest 10-puzzle set. I had intended to do it at home on my white puzzle board, but grabbed it by mistake that morning for my puzzling hours at the library. So it was a bit of a disappointing experience, that way. These pieces don’t look so nice against the yellowish table top. Additionally, I was nearly done (a half hour of time left) when a trio of college kids came and sat near me, talking just loud enough to be annoying and then vaping something that drifted over and gave me a sudden acute headache (I’m more sensitive to smells now). I tried to ignore it but couldn’t. Divided the nearly-finished puzzle into sections, slid it onto pieces of paper, and moved to another table farthest away.
Initial progress shots:

Change of camera angle, and then move to a different table:

In spite of all that, I did enjoy this puzzle, the picture is so nice I overlooked the pain it caused my fingers (much surreptitious rubbing on clothing edges) and the glare from the overhead lights, and even the fact that it’s been cropped so the upper edge of the lioness’ ear is cut off. I’m keeping this one to do again regardless.
