Longing for milder weather? I know I am. So I looked through my pile of handmade bookmarks for a spring theme and found these interesting plant ones. I think they\’re some kind of carnivorous plants- pretty red and orange patterns. If you like them, simply leave a comment here to win the pair! I\’ll be choosing a name at random next weekend.

As I\’m reading lots of books about fish lately, it only seems appropriate to do a giveaway on a fish theme. So here\’s a pair of bookmarks featuring fish! Anyone want some free, custom handmade bookmarks? All you have to do is leave a comment. I will pick a winner at random next weekend. Happy reading!

As you might guess from the scarce posts this week, I\’ve been busy with other things, namely this. I simply haven\’t been reading much, and the three books I am in the middle of are all dragging on me. I need a change of pace to get back into things.

So, here\’s a giveaway! I was looking through my stacks of handmade bookmarks thinking to pick out one with a fall-colors flair, but instead this pair caught my eye (probably because of the book I posted about yesterday, it was on my mind).

The bookmarks feature two wild animals from Asia, the dhole (indian wild dog) and the chital (spotted deer). A fitting set! One will hunt the other… Well, if you\’d like to have these free bookmarks, simply leave a comment and let me know. I\’ll pick a winner at random a week from now.

Here\’s a free pair of donkeys.

Actually, a quartet, there\’s one on each side of each bookmark. Stylishly presented, on a backdrop of green plant texture and caterpillar bristles (yes, that\’s right- caterpillar hair, even though it looks like the fringe of a rug or cactus spines at first glance, or so I thought). These burros would like to save your spot, in whatever book you\’re reading!

For a chance to win this laminated bookmark pair, simply leave a comment on this post. I\’ll draw a winner\’s name at random on tuesday, Oct 1st. Open to anyone with a mailing address in the US or Canada. Please be sure I can easily find your email address to contact you if you win!

Win this free pair of bookmarks! Featuring a beautiful spotted wildcat, the Ocelot. Giveaway runs until tuesday, Sept 10th. Simply leave a comment on this post and you\’ll be entered to win. A name will be drawn using random.org. Open to anyone with a postal address in the US or Canada.

Time for a giveaway. Who would like a pair of kitty paws and noses to grace their pages? Just leave a comment here and you\’ll be entered for this free bookmark set!

Giveaway ends a week from now, Mon Aug 5. Open to anyone with a mailing address in the US or Canada. Happy reading!

It\’s time for another giveaway. The weather is very cold today so this pair of polar bears perfectly suited my mood, although the second bear looks very serene about it all. He can, snug in his warm coat of fur!

As a little bonus, there\’s a cute polar bear cub on the reverse side of the first bookmark.

These are made from magazine scrap and laminated. Free to anyone who leaves a comment on this post. Giveaway will run for a week and a half, I\’ll draw a winner\’s name at random on 3/9/13. Open to any postal address in the US or Canada.

I\’m giving away this set of three bookmarks with pretty patterns. They are handmade from magazine scrap and clear laminate.

If you\’d like to win the set, just leave a comment and let me know! There must be an easy way for me to contact you via email. Available if you have a postal address in the US or Canada. The giveaway runs for two weeks, I\’ll draw a name at random on Feb 9.

I guess these caught my eye because I\’ve been spending lots of time with the kids at the pool, in the hot hot weather. The smaller one has a man diving into the blue on one side, a sailboat on the ocean al reverse. The larger bookmark has the line on the bottom of a pool lane, and ripples on the water on its opposite side. I think they\’re quite attractive! Laminated, handmade from magazine scraps, by yours truly.
