I\’ve been watching the Weekly Geeks lately. While I have (yet) no desire to officially join the group, I really like the idea of review link exchanges so I\’m going to make it policy on my blog. Here\’s how it works:
If you and I have reviewed the same book on our blogs, send me the link to your review, and I\’ll add it to the bottom of my post about the same book. Readers can then easily access different opinions of the same book. I\’ll be doing this retroactively as well as on all future posts. Here\’s my list of books reviewed. Please email your links to (jeanenevarez AT gmail DOT com). I don\’t like having links in comments, but if that\’s easier for you, leave your link in the comment and I\’ll move it to the post.
I\’m looking forward to hearing from all my fellow book bloggers!
I have noticed that Weekly Geekers have now become more prone to just leave their link and make no comment about a review. Yours is a good policy. I\’ll be taking a look at your list.
I have the links to your reviews now posted and I\’ve subscribed to your feed.
I get a little irked also when all I get is a link for a review in my comments–I\’m also not going back into my old posts to revise them (sorry, don\’t have the time), but I do like the idea of being able to link to other reviews.
Oh, by the way–how\’s the house? 🙂
Thanks, Puss Reboots. I\’ve subscribed to you as well!Trish- the house is coming along. It is now clean (lots of scrubbing) but still requires many fix-ups. The stairway is halfway done (still needs a new coat of paint and carpet), today I scraped & painted a bathroom windowsill, I have to repair a fence, patch & paint some walls, etc. But it is coming along well and starting to feel comfy!
Just to let you know, in case you didn't already, the list of books reviewed link isn't working. Off to explore rest of blog (which, I should mention, looks great) – am seeking folks to 'feature' on my blog, briefly, in 50 words or less…
Thanks for pointing that out, Jen. I've just fixed it, so you should be able to find the title list easily now.
